Greater Lansing Cultural Clubs – Lansing Liederkranz
The Liederkranz is a German social club and is Michigan’s oldest ethic club established in 1868. (And certainly, one of the nation’s oldest continuously operating clubs). Approximately 22% of Michiganders claim German heritage (17% nationwide).

The Lansing Liederkranz continues, 156 years strong with both membership and public events where everyone of all ages and ethnicities are welcome like at the monthly dinner/dances, annual salad luncheon, rummage sales and craft and bake sales. There is also event space available for private parties with seating for up to 200, a kitchen, fully stocked bar and a great dance floor with a stage for bands or DJs.
